MidiFo MFX plugins for Cakewalk Sonar 1, 2, or 3 have now been released as open-source. Thanks to all who bought these plugins over the years. These plugins provide for simple tempo-sensitive automation of many DirectX instruments and effects as well as a simple step-sequencer.

Select from one of the links on the left to either download the installer for MidiFo MFX plugins, or to download the entire source-code (requires Microsoft Visual C 6.0 to compile.) Click on the help-file link to download a CHM file giving a quick overview of the plugins.

Please let me know if you make any interesting plugins from the sources, or get them to work with later versions of Sonar. I'll try to cut some of the rubbish out of the sources, perhaps providing a simple "starter-kit" for creating MFX plugins, at some point in the future.
